A symposium namely ‘Safe Spaces for Students Addressing Mental Issues’ has been conducted on the occasion of ‘ World Suicide Prevention Day, 10th Sept18’, in Collaboration with School of Education, OU. Nearly 140 students representing all over Telangana received a thought provoking orientation on various factors determining the suicide tendency and preventive measures to be taken by respective institutions. Distinguished personalities like Dr.O.Srinivas Reddy, Board of Governors Member, NIPER, Dr.C.Veerender, Psychologist, Prof.Y.L.Srinivas, Member, NAAC, UGC, Dr.Shailaja, O.U., and Dr.Praveen Chintapanti Psychiatrist& M.D, Tranquil Minds were among the dignitaries who guided the participants

• Publication of study Papers and reports through research scholars by offering fellowships
• Trainings and Orientation Programmes in the field like environment, education, social work, politics and governance and empowerment of weaker sections.
